Sheer exhaustion rips through me

I collapse into bed

Wrap myself in blankets

And close my eyes.

Instead of drifting into dreams

You visit me while I

Suspend myself

Between time and space

Between worlds.

In those moments of silence

Souls connect

I speak without speaking

You hear without sound

You know, I feel

Colors and emotions

Symphonically swirl

Around our energies

Between worlds.

You leave me alone again

I feel refreshed

I feel renewed

The pain is gone

I'm ready to move on

I've got to let you go

I'll miss you till

We're suspended again
